Who's Hot…
The Thunderbolts have had an impressive season, but this is the first time they've made the Hot List with three wins in a row.

The Raiders get back on this list for the second time this season also on a three game winning streak.

...and NOT…
The Diesels slump continues now with three losses in a row and no wins in 5 games.

The GT's streak without a victory extends to 12 games now.

The Boss stay on the list for another week now no wins in six games.

Week 20 Intro :
We now move into February with only three more regular season games left to play. A couple more teams locked themselves into a Playoff spot with the results this week, but no one has been eliminated as of yet. Looks like it will be going down to the wire.

Week 20 in Review :
Raiders 6   Bullitts 2 :
DePaoli: The Bullitts came out strong and took it to the Raiders for the first half of the game, but Landuyt came out stronger and we were unable to get anything passed him until the end of the 2nd. Once we tied in up, it was all Raiders as they scored 4 in a row before we were able to get one back. Big match up next week between #1 and #2.

McKenzie: Jake won't get the love he deserves due to the two goals against, but he kept us in it throughout.

We had a short bench this week, but the whole team came together and made it happen. Contributions on both lines. Our blue-line was strong throughout. Just a gritty win against a top team.

We get back after it next week on Thursday.
Mavericks 4   Diesels 3 :
Moczydlowsky: We won.

The Super Bowl was on so...... this is all the write up you are getting.

...
Thunderbolts 1   Broncos 0 :
Kluegel: Lone goal scored by the Thunderbolts in the 1st period. Nebus from Johnny Wad. Unreal games by Gough and Alex Contreraz in net. Great back-and-forth game but the Broncos were unable to capitalize on their opportunities.

Next up, the Marauders

Tymczak: Great defensive game! Both goalies played well. Gough played out of his mind! Game could have been ugly. Several point blank saves. Only goal was a nice pass from behind the net from Johnny Wad to Nebus.
Focus 8   GranTorinos 5 :
From the desk of Johnnie Deblois;
Grand Torinos lose control of a 3-0 game to finish 5-8 Really?
A back and forth volley, forcing an unwelcome run time throughout the entire 3rd period.
Another ugly game for the GT as the Focus take it to em, but good.

Scollard: The Focus face off against the GT's in a game which may have Toilet Bowl implications for both teams. With the Widow Mak'r not in the lineup the GT's elect to go with a short bench. The game starts and to the dismay of the Focus the GT's build a quick 3-0 lead to take control of the game. The purple and gold do not give up and respond with 4 unanswered goals to regain control of the game - 2 from BM Rhett and 2 from sub Dave McLean. The GT's tie the game again and then the Focus finish things off with goals coming from Poodle, BM Rhett (2), and G Man.

POG in the game goes to Spitfire Julian who quietly got 4 helpers in this game to help the team get 2 much-needed points. Next up the CV and Rangers in another Toilet Bowl implication game.
Cobras 3   Rangers 1 :
Filar: Cobras get back to the good side of the ledger tonight, and man it feels good. Thanks to Rhett, Avila, Rossman for subbing and keeping the team in this one. Special thanks to Sauve for staying after and playing magnificently between the pipes. Cobras punch their ticket to the dance with this one!

Vincent: Tough loss for the Red, White and Blue. Good defense and goaltending by the Cobras held the Rangers off the scoreboard until a late 3rd period tally by big bro Dan but an empty netter sealed our fate on this late season goaltender battle. Our playoff chances hang by a thread and Monday’s game will be critical for our team.
FordTough 7   Marauders 3 :
Soper: TWO-FOUR on the Line. Rematch of the 2016 Championship, Tough vs. Marads.
Both teams come out flying. Rauds go on power play, Warren to Soap, Soap to Bobby (with a Dali-lama stick in way), but Bobby gains control and blasts one just inside the post. Tough come right back on a Chapman goal, then another from Blair. 2-1 Tough EOF. Early in 2nd Eastman gets another from Joe Z. Back and forth play rest of 2nd with some great goaltending by Killer Caldwell. 2-2 EOS. Fink gets on the scoreboard, early in 3rd. 30 secs later the Rauds tie it up ... Warren gets draw to Soap, Soap gets a shot on net and Bobby deposits the rebound for the Hatty! Tied again at 3. Wheels fall off bus for Rauds, 30 secs later Chapman scores, then scores twice more with an empty netter. Final 7-3 Tough. Richie Rich has a quick team that will hard to match up against in the Playoffs.
Thanks to James Radcliffe for subbing.
POG to Bobby Eastman.

Dalimonte: Ford Tough tries to avenge an early season loss to the Marauders. Case on the line and lots of history between these coaches!

Rads open scoring with 4.0 Star Eastman on the power play 1-0. Chappy ties game from Peaches at 4 min mark 1-1. Blazing Blair gets go ahead from Fink. 2-1 Tough end of 1st.

Eastman strikes quickly to tie game. Fink gets his first from Blazing and Chappy. Eastman gets the hat trick against GOS line early 3rd. 3-3.

Tough change up lineup and Chappy goes off with 2 in a row from Fink and Blair, then Fink from Blair and Chappy, than Chappy for his 4th of the night!! Tough route the Rads 7-3.

Up next, BULLITS for FHL supremacy 1st place vs 2nd place!! Defending champs!!!!
Falcons 6   Boss 3 :
Finger: Well this was just not going to be our game.. Hoping to avenge an earlier tie this year (our most absurd game thus far) we found ourselves weighed, measured and left wanting. We misjudged the depth of their defense and Brett's ability to control a play. Good news is our second line found some scoring, need to build on that. Great game by the good captain who is healthy and ready for a deep playoff run.. Another inspirational 2-way game by Peters who pots a beauty goal, Break away bar down.
Thanks to John Crisi for subbing for us again but from now on, we will be going for a more veteran direction. Hit the showers kid. Boss need to get this ship righted. The words of the coach can not put the puck in the net. Its time for action.

Bordeau: Falcons come to play and score the first 4 goals of the game and take that lead early into the 2nd period. The Boss fight back and make it 5-3 end of the 2nd period.
Falcons score the only goal of the 3rd period and finish off the Boss.
Special thanks to Killer Caldwell and his son for sticking around to fill in for an MIA goalie for the Falcons, game time info sent about a no show. Also Spencer H subbed in for another Falcon player last minute no show. Thank God we had the second game.

FHL Three Stars of the Week :
Might have to move this guy up to a Tier 2 goalie if he's going to be tied for the league lead in shut-outs (Alex will hate that I wrote that). Great shut-out in a one goal game gets Alex the first star this week. The other two stars go to guys with similar stat lines (4g, 1a). Busy week on the goal scoring once again.
